Some things still have to arrive on paper. A tribunal wants the application posted. A landlord needs a notice delivered to the property. - Upload the document. PDF, Word, JPG or PNG. Up to 10 files and 80 pages in one letter. Word files keep their formatting and colours, and a photo of a handwritten letter works too.
- Add the addresses. Any street address or PO Box in Australia, or more than 180 countries overseas. Address autocomplete fills it in for you, and the postcode is checked so the letter does not go astray. Your return address can be anywhere in the world.
- Check the preview. Every page is shown on A4 exactly as it will be printed, before you pay a cent.

For most people the deciding factor is not the three dollars. It is the half hour spent finding a printer, buying an envelope and standing in line. If that half hour is worth more to you than the difference, let Unopost post it.

Pay before 2:30pm Melbourne time on a business day and your letter is printed, enveloped and lodged with Australia Post that same day. After the cutoff, on a weekend or on a Victorian public holiday, it goes out the next business day.
Unopost backs that with a despatch guarantee. If your letter is not posted by 11:59pm on the day it was due, you get a full refund automatically, and the letter is still posted. You do not have to ask.
Once a letter is lodged, the delivery time belongs to Australia Post. Its own estimates are next business day for Express Post within the Express Post network, which covers the capital city metro areas, and 3 to 7 business days for regular post. International letters usually take 15 to 25 business days or more, depending on the country. If you are working to a deadline, choose Express Post and add signature on delivery.

Tenancy notices and bond disputes

Posting to Australia from Overseas
This is where Unopost is hard to beat. If you live in London, Singapore or Toronto and need a letter to reach an Australian address, international mail is slow, expensive and hard to track at the Australian end. Unopost prints the letter in Melbourne, so it enters the post as a domestic letter. You pay the same $10 or $20 as anyone in Australia, it travels on Australian timelines, and the tracking works from start to finish.
You pay in Australian dollars with any major card and your bank converts the currency. Your overseas return address goes on the envelope, so anything undeliverable comes back to you. Is Unopost Legit?
A fair question to ask before you hand a stranger your tenancy notice. Here is who we are and what happens to your document.
- A real Australian business. Unopost is run from Melbourne by the team behind unofax, ABN 54 837 123 965. We print, envelope and lodge every letter ourselves, in Melbourne. We are independent and not part of Australia Post.
- Secure payment. Checkout runs through Square. Unopost never sees your card number, and Square emails your tax invoice.
- Encrypted, then deleted. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in Sydney. The moment your letter is lodged, your upload and the print-ready copy are permanently deleted. Names and street addresses are removed 14 days after posting.
- Never used for AI training. Your documents and addresses are never sold or used to train AI.
- Refunds when we get it wrong. If we cannot print or post your letter, or we miss the despatch guarantee, you get a full refund.

A fax is faster and much cheaper per page, but it arrives as a fax: grayscale, and at the mercy of the receiving machine. A posted letter takes longer and costs more, but it arrives as the document you uploaded, with a tracking number attached.
